Registration: You may register for the treatment if you:
-have experienced a traumatic event in your childhood/youth as a result of consequences of World War II or directly related to post-war experiences,
-are still suffering from this/these experience(s),
-have access to a PC with an internet connection and an email account,
-are older than 65 years of age,
-are not currently engaged in psychotherapeutic treatment,
-do not take antipsychotics,during the course of treatment you would have internet access (with the exclusion of up to one week maximum) or are reachable throughout by postal access

Consequently, you will be receiving a confirmation reply within 24 hours ( one working day) with computer access information provided in order to access and fill-out several questionnaires.
The evaluation of your answers will determine whether or not Internet Writing Therapy would be a suitable form of treatment for you and if it offers you sufficient support. In the case of a negative decision, you will receive a reply containing the justification of our decision and, wherever possible, offer you alternative treatment options.
In the event that you are selected for the Writing Therapy, you will receive a confirmation mail containing a Terms of Agreement Form that must be signed and returned by mail or fax. As soon as we have received this form, you may begin treatment.
Since the treatment is offered within the framework of a research study, only a limited number of applicants can be accepted.
The treatment is free of charge.
